Tuition Assistance
Families of students attending St. John the Evangelist School may qualify to receive assistance with their tuition through one (or more) of the following programs:
Catholic Family Grant Program
The St. John the Evangelist Parish Catholic Family Grant Program exists to provide aid to parishioners that need financial support to provide a Catholic education for their children in grades Kindergarten through Eighth. This year the Parish Finance Committee and Pastoral Council have pledged monies, as needed, up to $150,000 for Catholic Family Grants - an increase of $20,000 from the prior year. Since the Parish is making the funds available for the grants, you must be an active registered parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church to apply under this specific program.
We have contracted with Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) to gather and process applications and the necessary financial information from families. TADS provides a framework through which household need can be measured fairly and equitably. Recommendations from TADS are used by the St. John’s Grant Committee in accordance with its policies to determine the award amount. Grant awards will be mailed as soon as possible after the committee makes its determination.
Catholic Family Grants are available to registered St. John’s parishioners on the basis
of demonstrated need. If you believe your resources are not sufficient to meet the total cost of a St. John’s education, you are encouraged to apply.
Applications for Catholic Family Grants are completed online at The $34.00 processing fee is paid directly to TADS. Failure to pay the processing fee will delay the evaluation. There is no need to submit forms or tax returns to the Parish Office. UPDATE: The application deadline has passed and will no longer be accepted without prior authorization from the Parish Office. If you are new the Parish and wish to apply, please contact Deacon Fred Passauer at 410.647.4884.
Assistance can be obtained by contacting TADS directly. TADS can only provide assistance completing the application or to check application status. TADS does not have award information.
