What is Workcamp?
For one week every summer, young people from
around the country gather to build, rebuild and refurbish homes of those who are
not able to make necessary repairs/improvements on their houses due to financial
or physical restraints. An organization called GROUP sponsors workcamps
during almost every week of the summer in different parts of the country.
Love Out Loud 2008!
This summer, a bus-load of Saint John's teens traveled to Binghamton, NY for a week of service with the Group WorkCamp Foundation. Together with nearly 400 youth from all over the U.S., our teens lived by the WorkCamp theme: "Love out Loud".
