Fall 2012 Anne Arundel County Soccer

Who: Fall soccer is available to St. John’s students (boys & girls) who are a minimum of 8 years of age by 9/10/2012 and through grade 8.
We also encourage those that are interested to volunteer as a coach or an assistant coach.
When: Fall county soccer season begins in September 2012 and ends by early November.
Where: Games will be played at various fields throughout the county primarily on Saturdays with some games on other days for certain age groups.
Practice: Practice schedules are up to the discretion of the coaches and are usually held at St. Johns (or other nearby fields) and communicated to the team players prior to the beginning of the season. Teams typically practice one or two days per week in the fall.
Costs: The registration fee is $80.00 per child.

*** Please note that 7th & 8th graders may play for both the school team that participates in a different soccer league with a separate registration process as well as this SJAA Anne Arundel County Soccer League. The game and practice schedules typically do not conflict to a significant extent. ***

Intramural Soccer Fall 2012: Pre-K- 2nd Grade

Who: Available to St. John’s students (boys & girls) in Pre-Kindergarten through grade 2.
We also encourage those that are interested to volunteer as a coach or an assistant coach.
When: Fall intramural soccer season begins in September 2012 and ends by early November. Games and practices are held on Saturday mornings.
Where: Games will be played at St. Johns’ Larsen Field.
Practice: Practices are also held at St. Johns’ Larsen Field just prior to the games.
Costs: The registration fee is $40.00 per child.

Girls Field Hockey AA County Leauge - Fall 2012

Who: Girls in 3rd and 4th grade. Pee Wee level.
We also encourage those that are interested to volunteer as a coach or an assistant coach.

When: Girls field hockey season begins in September and ends by November.

Where: Games will be played at various fields throughout the county.

Practice: Practice schedules are up to the discretion of the coaches and are usually held at St. Johns (or other nearby fields) and communicated to the team players prior to the beginning of the season. Teams typically practice two days per week.
Costs: The registration fee is $80.00 per child.

What: Girls Sticklettes is an introductory instructional setting for learning field hockey.

Who: Girls in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Sticklettes level.
We also encourage those that are interested to volunteer as a coach or an assistant coach.

When: Sticklettes season begins late September and ends by November.

Where: Games will be played at various fields throughout the county.

Practice: Practice schedules are up to the discretion of the coaches and are usually held at St. Johns (or other nearby fields) and communicated to the team players prior to the beginning of the season. Teams typically practice one or two days per week.

Costs: The registration fee is $40.00 per child.
