Enrichment

The enrichment program is now entering its tenth year. Each year the program is reviewed and revised to meet the changing needs of our students. The program is designed to challenge our highly capable students to achieve at a higher level. Currently, reading enrichment is provided to our talented readers in Grades 3 - 6 using a science and literacy program and problem-based learning. For mathematics, our program is designed to supplement St. John's strong math program by bringing greater depth and breadth to the study of mathematics in Grades 1 - 6.

Technology is another avenue which we use to enrich our curriculum. It provides a "hands on" approach to learning and engages the learner. There are Smart Boards in all classrooms in Grades 3-8 , as well as the Computer Lab for the 2011-2012 school year.
