Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration is scheduled on the First Friday of each month throughout the year (holidays excepted) from 9 AM - 7 PM. During the seasons of Advent and Lent it is scheduled every Friday, unless otherwise announced.

Friday Lenten Devotions

Each Friday during the Lenten season, the Church will be open for personal prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. The schedule each Friday (unless there is a funeral in the morning) is:

6:30 & 8:30 AM Mass
9 AM - 7 PM Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
2 PM Stations of the Cross (usually with school children)
7 PM Stations of the Cross & Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament
7:30 - 8 PM Confessions

All Fridays during the Lenten season are days of abstinence. Abstinence constitutes refraining from meat (beef, pork, chicken, lamb, etc.) Those aged 14 and over are bound to the law of abstinence. Good Friday is a day of fasting and abstinence. Fasting means that you can have two light meatless meals and one regular meatless meal. Those aged 18-59 are bound by the law of fasting. Of course, for health reasons an individual can be dispensed from either discipline.
