The Sacraments at St. John's

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
The first Friday of each month following the 8:30 am mass until 7:00 pm.

Confirmation
The Sacrament is conferred annually to our 8th grade youth and High School youth through our Religious Education program. Adults who have not been confirmed are invited to contact the Parish Office to make arrangements for the Sacrament.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)
The Celebration of initiation of adults into the Catholic Church takes place annually at the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday. For information regarding the preparation process of reflection, prayer, and discussion, see our Adult Education information or contact the parish office.

Sacrament of Reconciliation
Confessions are held Saturdays from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Priests are available for the Sacrament anytime by appointment.

Marriage
Couples planning to marry must contact one of the priests at least 6 months prior to the tentative date of marriage. Participation in a marriage preparation program is required.

Sacrament of the Sick
The Sacrament should be celebrated at the beginning of a serious illness. Please notify the Parish Office when a parishioner is hospitalized. If you are unable to attend mass and wish to receive Holy Communion call the Parish Office to make arrangements.
