Enrollment Procedures
Kindergarten and Grade 1
- Children must be 5 or 6 by September 1
- Registration is in March
- Admission to Kindergarten formalizes entrance into St. John's School
Grades 2 through 8
- Registration is in February by mail or by appointment
- The Short Form of the Stanford 10 Standardized Test is administered to applicants in the spring for the purpose of placement in the areas of Literature and Math
Prerequisites: Kindergarten through Grade 8
- Registration Form completed
- Copy of:
- Birth Certificate
- Sacramental Certificate/s (where applicable)
- Social Security Card
- Latest Report Card
- Latest Standardized Test Results (if applicable)
- Information Sheet completed (Grades 2 through 8)
- Updated Maryland Immunization Record
- Health Inventory
- Non-refundable Registration Fee of $50 per child
Order of Acceptance
- Re-registered students in Grades K through 8
- Siblings of students in Grades K through 8
- Children of registered parishioners of St. John's (by date of registration in the parish)
- Children of registered parishioners of other parishes (parishes without schools are given priority over parishes with schools)
- Baptized children of other faiths
