Faculty & Staff
The Sisters of St. Joseph of Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, PA, have provided stable leadership for St. John the Evangelist School since 1959. Currently, a Sister of St Joseph serves as principal. The administration also includes an assistant principal, an administrative assistant and an advisory school board. Two receptionists/office assistants provide support in the school office.

In addition to classroom teachers, our faculty includes teachers of Spanish, art, music, physical education, and computer. There are full-time assistants in the 3 kindergarten classrooms. Part-time assistants provide support in grades one, two, and three. Our faculty further includes three learning differences teachers, a librarian/media specialist, a full-time library/media assistant, a full-time enrichment teacher, and two part-time nurses.
All of our teachers are certified. Eleven have a Master's degree; twelve have credits beyond a Bachelor's degree. All engage in workshops and in-service activities that keep them up to date in their field and enable them to bring new ideas to their classrooms.
