About St. John
St. John the Evangelist School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

The Role of the Parent/Teacher Partnership

St. John's Parent/Teacher Partnership (PTP) is the parent-teacher organization for St. John's school. If you have children attending St. John's you are a member! The PTP Executive Board meets monthly to plan events. All meetings are open to any parent; please contact the president as a courtesy to let us know we will have guests. All parents are welcome and encouraged to come.

Our Purpose

  1. To promote open communication among the parents, teachers, and administration.
  2. To provide parents and teachers with information to aid in all aspects of education, growth, and development.
  3. To promote good will and cooperation between and among parents, faculty, administration, school board, and the parish of St. John the Evangelist.
  4. To direct and coordinate parental support to St. John's school through assistance activities, social functions, and fund raisers.
  5. To foster political action of parents as advocates regarding legislation that affects Catholic Schools as well as the lives of students and parents.

The Significance of School Volunteers

Reasons Why Supporting the School Gives Your Child an Advantage

We Need You

We enthusiastically encourage our school parents to become involved with the PTP. Please contact any member of the PTP Executive Board to give input, suggestions, ask questions, or volunteer. Volunteering for one or more of the many fundraisers and "friendraisers" is a fun and rewarding way to support the school and meet other parents. If you are interested in being a member of the Board, we need new Board members each year and interested parents are strongly encouraged to nominate themselves.
