An excerpt from the School Board Constitution

The purpose of the School Board is to identify the needs of the school and to establish goals and policies whereby these needs may be satisfied.
Furthermore, the School Board exists to facilitate communications and
co-operation within the entire Parish community with respect to school-related concerns.
Finally, the School Board acts as an advocate for Saint John the Evangelist School to the Parish, the community, and the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
