Student Handbook

Dear Parents,

We have all learned that the success of any undertaking depends upon the cooperation of persons involved. The information contained in this handbook has been carefully prepared and presented with the hope that you will find in it, answers to some of the questions you have concerning procedures necessary for the smooth functioning of our school. However, the most important sections are those that deal directly with your child’s awareness of responsibilities as a student and acceptance or rejection of them. It is particularly in this area that cooperation and mutual understanding must exist between us, parents and teachers.

Only in the measure that our children grow in Christian awareness and responsible living can we truly say that we are instrumental in shaping Christian leaders and citizens for tomorrow.

God bless you,

The Administration
and Faculty

Dear Students,

This reference book has been designed with you in mind. You are expected to know and follow the procedures and rules that are established here. Some of the information may seem to be more useful to your parents but it is our hope that all of its contents will help you to better understand your school, its purpose, and its goals.

Unknowingly, you have shared in some part in the preparation of this book through informal discussions. All of us are interested in you and dedicated in sharing with you the ideals of Christian living. However, your experiences here at St. John the Evangelist will only be as productive and as rewarding as you wish to make them.

God bless you,

The Administration
and Faculty
