DRESS CODE

Girls - Year Round Uniform

Grades K - 4
• Drop Waist Plaid Jumper
• Red or White Monogrammed Polo Shirt w/logo (Long or Short Sleeve)

Grades 5 - 8
• Plaid Kilt
• White Oxford Blouse (Long or Short Sleeve)

All Grades
• Red, White or Black Tights or Crew Socks (socks must rise above ankle)
• Khaki Slacks (Optional)
• Flat or low-heeled - Tan, Black or Brown Dress Shoe (Clogs, Platform, Hiking Shoes, Work

  Boots, Sneakers or Sandals may not be worn)     

•Optional items: Red or Black V-Neck Cardigan Sweater w/logo; Black Fleece Vest w/ eagle

 logo. No other sweater, jacket nor sweatshirt may be worn as a substitute.

N.B. - Girls whose kilts or walking shorts are determined to be too short will be required to have them lengthened within 5 days of request. Should the kilt or shorts not be able to be lengthened, the student will be required to purchase a new one.

Boys - Year Round Uniform

Grades K - 4
• Red or White Monogrammed Polo Shirt (Long or Short Sleeve)
• Khaki Trousers

Grades 5 - 8
• White Oxford Shirt (Long or Short Sleeve)
• Tie of Student's Choice
• Belt
• Khaki Trousers

All Grades
• Tan, White, Black or Brown Socks (socks must rise above ankle)
• Tan, Black or Brown Dress Shoe (Clogs, Hiking Shoes, Work

Summer Uniform

All Grades - Boys and Girls

• Dress Shoes as stated for Winter Uniform
• Plain White Crew Socks (socks must rise above ankle)
• Belt (Grades 5 - 8)

Additional Information

• All clothing must be purchased from Arthurs, our school uniform provider.
• Colored and/or decorated T-shirts are not permitted under shirts.
• Hats/caps may not be worn inside any building.
• Complete uniforms, with shirts neatly tucked in and buttoned, are to be worn everyday, except for

  the day on which a student has Physical Education.


JEWELRY— Fad or costume jewelry not permitted for girls or boys. Girls are permitted small post earrings no larger than a dime. (No dangling or loops, etc.) Boys are not permitted to wear earrings in school and school related activities.

MAKE-UP— None

NAIL POLISH— None

HAIR— Boys - Neat, clean - No longer than the top of the collar. No extreme styles. No part of the head is to be shaved. No dyed hair.

Hair must be above the eyebrows. Hair may not hang over the ears and onto the face.

HAIR— Girls - Neat, clean - No extreme styles. No dyed hair. Plain barrettes and plain headbands are acceptable.


PE Uniform - All Grades - Girls And Boys

• Gold Tee Shirt with school logo (K-6)
• Yellow Short Sleeve Mesh Polo (7&8)
• Navy Mesh Shorts w/ school logo & or Navy or Grey Sweatpants (no logo)
• Navy or Grey Sweatshirt (no hood or logo)

N.B. BOXER SHORTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO HANG BELOW GYM UNIFORM. THIS IS NOT IN KEEPING WITH THE REGULATION GYM UNIFORM.

GENERAL RULES REGARDING DRESS

All clothes must conform to the following principles:

Appropriate for the occasion
Neat and clean
Modest

Clothes that are sloppy, dirty, torn, or bare midriffs, tank tops, short shorts, low cut pants or tops, suggestive printing, patches or pictures on clothes that do not fall into the above categories will not be acceptable casual wear for school events. The school reserves the right to make a judgment in an arbitrary situation and a student may be deprived of participation in a school event until he/she has complied with the above regulations.

GENERAL Dress Code Guidelines

School Attire    — Uniform
Dress Clothes   — Good clothes for special and formal occasions such as ceremonies for

                             reception of the Sacraments, Graduation

Casual Clothes — Less formal wear (but NOT play clothes for some outside classroom

                            assemblies
   

May Fair:             Shorts, slacks, tee shirts for May Fair.

Junior Olympis:   PE Uniform
