What is the SCRIP program?
Scrip is largest of the Parent/Teacher
Partnership's primary Tuition Credit programs.
On your scrip order form, you will be asked to write down the Family or Teacher to be credited
for purchase.
If you are a parent working toward your family's fundraising commitment, just put your
family's name down.
Non-school family parishioners and school families who have fulfilled their commitment are
invited to help other families and teachers. If you know a particular family you would like your
fundraising contribution to support, just write in their name.
What, exactly, are SCRIP?
Basically, scrip are gift certificates or debit cards. St. John the
Evangelist School buys scrip at a discount from area grocery stores and other retailers.
We sell the certificates at face value and you use them instead of cash when you do your
shopping.
How does SCRIP work?
For every $100 you spend, you get $100 in gift certificates
to spend on
groceries or at your favorite retail stores, AND earn between $1 and $10 toward tuition. |
