The scripture readings of the day feature two widows, each in dire straits. One is down to her last handful of flour and meager amount of oil to make a last meal for herself and her son. The other has only two small coins worth a few cents as she approaches the temple treasury. Each go “all in” in taking a leap of faith and trust in God. Do our lives and livelihoods show that, like them, we are “all in” for the Lord?
