Online Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration around the world.
Jesus is here with us, really present in the sacrament of his Body and Blood.
We want to help you encounter him and grow in your prayer.
Get ready to make your prayer life amazing.
During this time of pandemic, the church is open daily from 9a.m. – 6p.m. for all visitors. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is scheduled from 9a.m. Friday through 8a.m. Saturday in the main church.
Visitors must wear masks and clean their particular pew space. Disinfecting wipes and baskets will be on the table in the Gathering Space. Bathrooms will be open for emergencies (please follow the directions posted next to the bathroom doors).
A Special Note
Jesus is always present in the Tabernacle in the Sanctuary, so if you visit during hours when there is not yet Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, please know that He is there to meet you in prayer. The red sanctuary lamp that burns in every Roman Catholic church indicates that Jesus is truly present.
The church will be locked from 6p.m. – 8:30 a.m., and the main church will not be accessible at these times (the church will be roped off and an alarm set for Saturday through Thursday nights). During this time, parishioners wishing to visit the Lord may enter the church using a special door code to unlock the outer door and sit in the Gathering Space. The main church will not be accessible at these times. The main church is roped off and an alarm is set. There will be a couple of plastic chairs available, or you may bring your own lawn chair.
So that we may offer this awesome opportunity, adorers must follow the same safety procedures as they would during the day, including wearing masks and cleaning any borrowed chairs with the available disinfecting wipes. Bathrooms will be open for emergencies; please follow the directions posted next to the bathroom doors. Thank you for understanding.
Visitors who are either St. John the Evangelist parishioners or registered parishioners in the Archdiocese of Baltimore can request the door code by contacting the Parish Office at (410) 647-4884, or via the Access button below. Our staff will verify the information you provide and, if approved, you will receive the door code. This code changes regularly so please be sure to watch your email for updates.

St. John the Evangelist offers exposition of the Blessed Sacrament every week from Friday at 9:15a.m. through the night until Saturday at 8a.m. All are welcome to come at any time, but we do need at least two people to be with Our Lord at all times.
Regular, weekly Adorers are asked to commit to an hour of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament at the same day and time each week. Adorers are needed to fill Friday morning through Saturday morning hours. Our hope is that we have enough committed adorers to be able to expand Adoration to include Thursday, as well.
Adorers must wear masks and clean their particular pew space as usual. Disinfecting wipes and baskets will be on the table in the Gathering Space. Bathrooms will be open for emergencies; please follow the directions posted next to the bathroom doors.
Please note, weekly Adorers on on the regular roster and substitute list must be at least 18 years old so that we remain in compliance with the safe environment standards required by the Archdiocese for the protection of children and youth.
You probably have some questions about serving as a weekly Adorer. Please see our FAQs here to get some answers.
I’d like to sign-up as an Adorer.
If you're not ready to sign-up as a regular weekly Adorer yet, but would like to help cover an hour here or there, then please sign-up to be a Sub. Adoration Subs receive emails or texts when regular Adorers can't make it and need someone to cover an hour for them. Subs have the choice to respond to requests that come from other Adorers or not. We are so grateful for our substitutes; they are incredibly responsive and totally critical for this mission! Pandemic Guidelines (masks, cleaning the pew) also apply to subbing.
