REQUIRED COMPONENTS OF SACRAMENT PREPARATION INCLUDE 3 MAIN PHASES:
1. Fall Session
During the Fall of 2017 you'll attend 6 sessions. These sessions will focus on answering questions about life, faith, and God. The sessions will meet on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 4:30 pm.

Class attendance is mandatory. If a conflict arises, make-up classes will be held the Monday following each class ( 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23) from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Youth Room. If you miss your class on Sunday, you must make it up on the following Monday.
2. Confirmation Retreats
The next phase of confirmation focuses on bringing you to an encounter with our Lord. You'll be able to do that by attending one of our confirmation retreats. On these retreats you'll be given the opportunity to encounter the Lord through inspiring talks, opportunity for confession, mass, and through fellowship with others on the confirmation journey.

Confirmation Retreat 2 Nov 17-19, 2017 Cost: $150
3. Spring Session
During the spring of confirmation we will dive deeper into living out the Christian life and making a personal commitment to follow God. These sessions will focus on building your relationship with Christ and the Holy Spirit. The sessions will meet on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 4:30 pm.

Class attendance is mandatory. If a conflict arises, make-up classes will be held the Monday following each class ( 2/12, 2/22(On a Thursday because of Presidents Day), 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19) from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Youth Room. If you miss your class on Sunday, you must make it up on the following Monday. Textbooks will be distributed and weekly reading homework will be given as well as a few extra assignments, i.e. a saint report and a letter to our bishop.
Other requirements for confirmation
- Interview with Fr. Proffitt or Fr. Reubling
- Choose a Saint to take as your patron and do a report on that saint
- Participate in one of the service opportunities hosted by St. John's Office Youth Ministry
- Write a letter to the Bishop
Must attend Parent and Teen Confirmation Meeting
- Aug 31st 7 pm in the Church
- Sep 13th 7 pm in the Church
Cost: $100 plus the cost of your chosen retreat
