Confirmation
“Like Baptism which it completes, Confirmation is given only once, for it too imprints on the soul an indelible spiritual mark, the “character,” which is the sign that Jesus Christ has marked a Christian with the seal of his Spirit by clothing him with power from on high so that he may be his witness.”
Teen Confirmation Preparation
Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation into the Church. Confirmation completes the grace given to us from the Sacrament of Baptism by sealing us with the gift of the Holy Spirit. This Sacrament equips us to participate fully in the mission and life of the Church.
Registration for Confirmation 2023—2024 has closed. Confirmation for 2024-25 for rising 9th grade teens will open in late spring ‘24.

Adult Confirmation Preparation
Adults who have not been confirmed should contact us at 410-647-4884 or at catholic@stjohnsp.org to set up an appointment to discuss the preparation process. Additionally, these adults are encouraged to participate in Discovering Christ if they have not yet done so.
